On September 4, in Vladivostok, on the sidelines of the V International Eastern Economic Forum, a trilateral agreement was signed between the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, SIBUR Holding and PPK “REO” on cooperation within the framework of implementing the ideas of the Ecology national project.
The document was signed by the Minister of Natural Resources of Russia Dmitry Kobylkin, Chairman of the Management Board of SIBUR Holding Vladimir Konov and General Director of PPK Russian Environmental Operator Denis Butsaev (remotely).
SIBUR, for its part, is starting to develop an investment project to involve PET-flex (flakes from used PET packaging) in the current flow chart of primary PET production at the company’s enterprise in the Republic of Bashkortostan (POLIEF JSC). In the case of the project, the company plans to produce granules containing primary and secondary polymers and increase the total capacity of the site for the production of PET.

It is valuable that large industrial flagships with their competencies come to serious projects - socially significant for the population.
