28 March 2025 Press release From 25 to 27 March in Moscow, Expocentre Fairgrounds hosted the Wasma International Exhibition of Environmental Technologies, one of the key exhibitions in Russia, bringing together manufacturers and suppliers of environmental technologies, representatives of recycling and disposal companies, regional operators, environmentalists of industrial enterprises and authorities. The exhibition once again confirmed its status as one of the key events in the industry, bringing together 70 companies from Russia, Belarus, India, China, as well as more than 2,700 specialist visitors. The exhibition was traditionally co-organised by the Public Law Company Russian Ecological Operator. The main event of Wasma was the business programme, which included important industry events: International Congress of Environmental Technologies, which addressed the normative, investment and technological aspects of creating a closed-cycle economy, as well as practical cases on the organisation of separate collection and involvement of residents and methods of recycling secondary resources. Conference ‘Industrial and Domestic Wastewater Treatment’, which discussed the issues of eco-monitoring, modernisation of treatment facilities, best available technologies, legal problems and initiatives of the industry community. International Forum ‘Elimination of Oil and Oil Products Spills’, which raised issues of interaction between the state, society and business, discussed new technologies in the field of prevention and elimination of oil spills and their environmental consequences, modern methods of oil waste processing. A lecture on handling different classes of waste, which presented ESG best practices and creative cases in the field of waste management, discussed issues of digitalisation of processes and prospects for the development of ROP. There was also an interactive experience waiting for visitors: Renowned artist Artur Palchik created thematic compositions from metal lids all three days of the exhibition. Visitors to the exhibition were able to personally participate in the process. Green Van Recycling Workshop. Visitors to the exhibition had the opportunity to participate in recycling plastic and textiles. RDF zones and art objects from the participants of the Green Square Award. Everyone could take a photo at a unique photo zone and recycle glass and plastic. Within the framework of Wasma exhibition the awarding ceremony of PR BATTLE contest winners took place. PR BATTLE is a prize for the best marketing department from among the exhibitors. According to the results of three days of the exhibition, 3 winners were chosen, who invited the most visitors to the exhibition using a unique promo code, which was assigned to each exhibitor. The winners of the competition were: 1st place was taken by the company ‘EcoVector’ 2nd place - BMT Company 3rd place - JAK Automobile Company The exhibition partners were: National Association for Oil Spill Prevention and Elimination (NASOPN), Association ‘Resource’, Ubirator, Association of Waste Disposers ‘Clover’, Association of Waste Recycling, Association ‘Tyre Ecology’. In 2026, the Wasma exhibition will be held from 27 to 29 April at the Timiryazev Centre.
